■ Introduction
EM20 Digital Air Flow anemometer is designed to
measure Temperature and Air Flow, simultaneously.
It is normally used to measure the temperature and
air speed at ventilation outlets.
■ Features
1. Display: the top display line shows the velocity
and the bottom display shows the temperature.
2. Parameters:
Velocity：m/s, km/h, fpm, mph, kts, Beaufort
Temperature：°C,°F

Velocity: 0.1m/s，fpm；
Temperature: 0.1,°F 0.1°C

■ Operating instructions
Temperature/Vane anemometer:
1. Press the ON/OFF key to turn the power on.
2. To guarantee correct readings: position
instrument so that air flows through the vane
and make sure the vane sensor is upright into
the wind direction for measurement.
3. Make sure the reading stabilizes before
recording the value.
■Function Keys
Temperature/Vane anemometer:
1. ON/OFF key
Power ON/OFF function:
Press the key to turn the power ON and press
the key once more to turn the power OFF.
2. Func. key
1) Press the key to select the state of MAX、MIN、
HOLD.
The cycle of views shows as following figure:

l Hold mode: Reading is held.
l Max mode: Maximum values since the
instrument was last switched on or last reset.
l Min mode: Minimum values since the
instrument was last switched on or last reset.
2) Back light control
Press and hold the Func. key for more than 1
second. The back light will be turned on, Press
and hold the key again for more than 1 second
and the light will be turned off. The backlight
turns off after 60 seconds.

3. Unit key
1) Unit and Auto power off set
Velocity unit:
Press Unit key to change the Velocity unit. (m/s,
km/s, fpm, mph, kts, Beaufort scale)
Temperature unit：
Press and hold the Unit key for more than
1second to change the Temperature unit.
(℃,℉)
2) Auto power off
The meter will power itself off after 20 minutes if
there is no key operation.
To Cancel auto power off function: Press and
hold the ON/OFF key until the LCD displays AP
ON. Press Unit key to select AP ON or AP OFF,
then press the Func. key to confirm the setting.
AP ON ----- Auto power off is active.
AP OFF --- Auto power off is inactive.
■. Maintenance
1. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
The meter may be wiped down with a wet

sponge or cloth using a mild, water based
detergent.
NOTE:
This unit is not designed for complete
submersion or washing in water.
2. BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Use the following procedure:
When the battery voltage drops below proper
operation range the symbol will appear on
the LCD display and the battery needs to be
replaced.
∞ Press the battery cover towards the arrowhead to
open the battery cover.
∞ Replace the battery with three new AAA (1.5V)
batteries.
∞ Replace the battery cover.

THERMOMETRE ET THERMO ANEMOMETRE
PORTABLE
INTRODUCTION
Merci d’avoir acheté ce thermométre et thermo anémométre portable. Veuillez
prendre quelques minutes pour passer en revue ce manuel d'utilisation. Vous devez
vous assurer que vous vous étes entiérement familiarisés avec l’appareil pour pouvoir
l’utiliser sans risque.
Cet instrument mesure la température d'écoulement. II est surtout employé pour mesurer la
vitesse d'air aux sorties de ventilation ainsi que la température de soufflage
1.1 PRECAUTION D’UTILISATION
Pour avoir la meilleure utilisation de ce thermométre, veuillez lire attentivement ce manuel et
respecter scrupuleusement toutes les instructions.
1.1.1 PENDANT L’ UTILISATION
1.1.1.1 Le symbole OL s’affiche quand la mesure est en dehors de la plage de mesure de
l'appareil.
1.1.1.2 Quand la batterie est en dessous de la charge minimum nécessaire a l’utilisation,
le symbole ## apparait sur l’écran LCD. II faut donc changer la batterie.
1.1.1.3 Ne pas stocker a proximité de solvants, acides et autres produits agressifs.
1.1.2 MAINTENANCE DU PRODUIT
1.1.2.1 Ne pas faire des mesures dans des lieux trop chauds et ou trop humides.
1.1.2.2 Pour garantir une bonne mesure, il faut que le sens du mouvement d’air se fasse
de l’arriére de l’appareil a l’avant.
1.1.2.2 Si vous n’utilisez pas le produit pendant un long moment, veuillez retirer les
piles et conserver le produit dans un endroit a l’écart de la chaleur et de
V’humidité.

INSTRUCTIONS
1 Placer des piles neuves dans |’instrument de mesure
2 Presser la touche (type /on-off) pour démarrer
3 Placer le dos du capteur de l’anémométre au vent.
4 Prendre la mesure uniquement quand I’ affichage se stabilise
Si vous avez besoin de plus d'opérations, voyez svp la description de clavier
DESCRIPTIONS CLAVIER
1 ON/OFF : Presser une fois pour allumer, appuyer une seconde fois pendant plus de 2
secondes pour éteindre.
2 FUNC. : 1° pression pour stopper le flux de mesure. 2° pression pour afficher les
valeurs max de l’anémométre et du thermométre enregistrées depuis le démarrage de
l'appareil ou de la derniére remise a zéro. 3° pression pour afficher les valeurs mini de
l’'anémométre et du thermométre enregistrées depuis le démarrage de l’appareil ou de la
derniére remise a zéro.
3 UNIT: Pour changer l’unité de mesure du thermométre et de l’anémométre
4 MISE EN VEILLE : la mise en veille se fait automatiquement au bout de 25s en mode
infrarouge et 20 minutes en mode thermocouple. Pour annuler cette fonction, il faut
garder appuyer la touche (ON/OFF) au démarrage et en méme temps avee (FUNC.)
sélectionner le marche arrét du la mise en veille AP ON avec mise en veille AP OFF sans
mise en veille.
MAINTENANCE
1 INSTRUCTION DE NETTOYAGE
Cet instrument de mesure peut étre essuyé vers le bas avec une éponge ou un tissu humide utilisant un
savon antibactérien ou un détergent a base d'eau doux et étre rincé sous un jet doux d'eau froide
NOTE cette unité n'est pas congue pour l'immersion complete ou laver dans l'eau
2 REMPLACER LES PILES
Employez le procédé suivant :
Quand le symbole apparaitra sur l'affichage, il est nécessaire de changer les batteries.
Presser le couvercle des piles et pousser dans le sens de la fléche.
Remplacer les piles par 3 nouvelles.
