Jetoil full-cone nozzles are available in 30°, 45°, 60°, and 80° spray angles. Selection depends on burner head design and combustion-chamber geometry. A 45° angle suits most compact and mid-range industrial burners; 60° and 80° angles are used where wider fuel distribution or larger flame-envelope coverage is required. Consult your burner's technical data sheet or contact your burner OEM to confirm the spray angle your system is rated for. Using an incorrect angle may result in poor atomization or uneven flame.

Jetoil offers nozzles across a 0.40 to 35.00 gph (gallons per hour) flow spectrum. Flow rating is determined by nozzle size designation (e.g., 1.35, 3.25, 5.50, 9.00, 22.00) and pressure setting. To select the correct nozzle, calculate the required fuel-flow rate for your burner capacity (BTU output ÷ fuel energy content), then match to the nearest Jetoil size. Pressure-atomization nozzles must operate within a specified pressure window (typically 60–300 psi) to deliver rated flow and proper cone angle; confirm your system's pressure setting before ordering.

Jetoil nozzles follow industry-standard port threads and mounting dimensions, making them compatible with most pressure-atomized fuel-oil burners. However, thread size, nozzle length, and spray angle are manufacturer-specific; always verify that the nozzle part number matches your burner's OEM specification or consult the burner manual. Using a nozzle with incorrect thread pitch or length can result in poor fit, fuel leakage, or improper combustion.

Oil nozzles accumulate carbon and fuel residue over time, which degrades atomization quality. Routine cleaning involves soaking in a compatible solvent and using a small brush or ultrasonic bath to remove deposits from the internal spray orifice. Do not use wire or needles, as they damage the precision orifice. Jetoil offers a nozzle removal wrench (SKU JTO80010) to facilitate safe extraction. If a nozzle cannot be restored by cleaning, replacement is recommended to restore combustion efficiency.

Store nozzles in a clean, dry environment away from dust, moisture, and corrosive vapors. Jetoil's 44-unit plastic storage case (SKU JTO82004) is purpose-designed for workshop or warehouse inventory, protecting nozzles from mechanical damage and contamination. Keep the case sealed and label each compartment with the nozzle size and angle. Never leave nozzles exposed on workbenches or in areas subject to temperature cycling or humidity swings, as this can promote corrosion of internal passages.
