SKILCRAFT
SKILCRAFT is a brand of industrial tools, equipment, and supplies produced by the National Industries for the Blind (NIB) in the United States. The brand is part of the AbilityOne Program, a federal initiative that provides employment opportunities for people who are blind or have significant disabilities. SKILCRAFT products are manufactured in the U.S. and are widely used in government, military, and commercial applications. The product line includes tool kits, tool boxes, tape measures, shelving, utility rope, shovels, and other general-purpose items. SKILCRAFT tools are designed for durability and functionality, with specifications such as SAE (inch) graduations on tape measures, HDPE or high-density polyethylene shelving materials, and working load limits for rope. Tape measures feature nonmagnetic single hook tips, manual or auto lock mechanisms, and graduations as fine as 1/32 inch. Tool kits include combination slip-joint pliers, Phillips screwdrivers, and adjustable wrenches. Shelving units are press-fit stationary plastic with load capacities up to 180 lb per shelf. Utility rope is braided cotton with a 370 lb working load limit. Shovels are plastic scoop shovels with #12 blade size and 14 1/4 inch blade width. 3G Electric supplies SKILCRAFT products globally, offering logistics support for procurement specialists, plant engineers, and maintenance managers who require reliable, specification-driven tools for industrial environments. The brand's focus on standardized, U.S.-made products makes it suitable for applications where compliance with federal specifications or consistent quality is required.
