Notes contained in this manual are classified as WARNING and CAUTION. Instructions given in the WARNING column summarize and refer to those that may result in a death or serious injury if they are neglected. However, instructions classified as CAUTION may also lead to serious consequences depending on the circumstance if neglected. Observe all instructions without fail because they refer to important matters concerning safety. WARNING 1. Do not perform work under these circumstances. • Having difficulty in focusing on the work due to fatigue, illness, influence of a drug or some other reason. • Under the influence of alcohol. 2. Check the surrounding environment before starting work. • Do not use the product when it is raining or when there is thunder. • Make sure that there is enough light in the working environment. There is a risk of accidents happening when working in dark places. 3. Take actions against falling, such as wearing a tether, for working in high places. Lock Ring ② Stop the lock ring on a desired lock point and loosen your hold on the lock ring so that the lock ring will be locked at the lock point. CAUTION Do not extend the handle with force. [If neglected] Lock points and slide track may be damaged. And there is a risk of disconnecting the handle. How to bend the copper tube ① Place the hook on the copper tube in accordance with the picture below. ※To confirm if the copper tube is set property, see if the hook is parallel with the former and arrow mark on the hook and the former are connected (See the picture below). The hook should be Arrow marks should parallel with the be connected. former 3 ② Insert the connecting plate to the former. ※The connecting plate can be inserted from the position as shown in the picture below. ※Make sure to insert the plate so that the arrow mark on the plate and the center pin are exactly connected. If the plate is not connected appropriately when the handle on the guide is pulled down, the machine may not operate correctly. CAUTION Do not start the NG operation when the plate is not connected OK appropriately. How to use R and L (When bending the tube to 90 degrees) ①X Dimension (finished size) ②Place mark on the copper tube. ③Place the tube inside the clamp. Make sure the tube is positioned and engaged with the tube clamp. Make sure former and guide are set correctly at 0 position, and that the mark is set at base point “R”. ④Use both hands and slowly lower the handle while checking that it’s bending at the correct angle. ⑤When dimension X is needed as in the diagram below, place the mark of the tube at “L” and complete the process in the same way. 5 ■In case the extendable handle is firmly fixed on the lock ring■ If the machine is accidentally dropped, there is a possibility that the lock ring cannot be released. In such cases, tap the lock ring by a plastic hammer or the like. CAUTION Do not use a metal made hammer and hit the lock ring hard. This certificate is valid only in Japan. 3. The warranty period is one year from the date of purchase. 4. This warranty does not apply to consequential damages caused by the use of the product. 5.
