[{"filename":"ATUV_EN_Ed6_april-2024.pdf","text":"UNIVERSAL PUMP\n TYPE 3G-OTH-02688 3G-OTH-02688\nThis is a general specification leaflet; for specific applications not covered herein, 3G-OTH-02688 - 11 - Ed 6 - April 2024\ncontact Suntec.\n PUMP\nThe SUNTEC 3G-OTH-02688 oil pump is specially designed for the replacement market : the 3G-OTH-02688\nreplaces the majority of two-stage pumps on the market of which most SUNTEC AT245, IDENTIFICATION\nATE245, models; it also can replace AT255, ATE255 models used with nozzles up to 5 GPH.\nIt incorporates a blocking solenoid valve fitted with a built-in return valve ensuring an in-line (2 models available)\ncut-off function and a nozzle line pressure relief. It features two nozzle possible outlets.\nCOMPATIBILITY ATU : Pump for two mode operation\n- Domestic oil, HVO, B100 (biofuel blend with the addition up to 100% FAME, as defined in (two pressure modes),\nDIN SPEC 51603-6 and EN 14214), kerosene. blocking solenoid valve with in-line\n- Two firing rates cut-off function and nozzle line\n pressure relief device,\n- Two-pipe system only (one pipe system not possible)\n two possible nozzle outlets.\nSPECIAL FEATURES\n- Choice of nozzle outlet connection on either side (right or left). V : B100 applications\n- Nozzle line pressure relief device (for nozzles with build-in cut-off function).\n- Performance and reliability of SUNTEC \"AT2\" pumps, also adapted to kerosene Gear set capacity\napplications. (see pump capacity curve)\nPUMP OPERATING PRINCIPLE\nThe gear set draws oil from the tank through the built-in filter and transfers it to the nozzle Shaft rotation\nline via the cut-off solenoid valve. Pressure regulation is assured by two spool valves, one (seen from shaft end)\nfor each pressure mode. R : clockwise rotation\nSwitching between low and high pressure is assured by a \"normally open\" by-pass solenoid L : anti-clockwise rotation.\nvalve. When this solenoid is non-activated, a by-pass channel is open, allowing the normal\nfunctioning of the low pressure regulating valve which sets the nozzle pressure. When this Model number\nsolenoid is activated, the by-pass channel is closed, thus pressure will build up on both sides\nof the low pressure regulating valve eliminating its effect, and the high pressure regulating\nvalve now determines the nozzle pressure.\n ATU V 45 L 9860 6 P 07 00 I\nCut-off\n ATU V 45 R 9861 6 P 07 00 I\nThe blocking solenoid valve of the nozzle line is of the \"normally closed\" type.\nThis design ensures extremely fast response and the switching can be selected according to\nthe burner operating sequence and is independent of motor speed.\nWhen this solenoid valve is non-activated, the valve is closed and all oil pressurized by the Revision number\ngear set passes through the regulators to suction line.\nAs soon as this solenoid is activated, oil passes to the nozzle line at the pressure set by the\npressure regulating valves. Installation\nBleed P : two-pipe operation\nBleeding in two pipe operation is automatic (it is assured by a bleed flat on the piston of the\nlow pressure regulator). It may be accelerated by opening the pressure gauge port.
