Pertanyaan yang Sering Diajukan
Pertanyaan umum tentang BLUE FORCE dari 3G Electric.
What is the difference between the BLUE FORCE Vickers Sling and a standard two-point sling?
The Vickers Sling uses a quick-adjust pull tab that allows the user to lengthen or shorten the sling under tension without releasing the weapon. Standard two-point slings often require manual adjustment of a buckle or strap. The Vickers design uses a continuous loop of webbing with a friction-lock mechanism, enabling one-handed operation. It is available in padded and non-padded versions, and in widths of 1.25 inches (standard) and 1.0 inch (for lighter rifles).
Does the BLUE FORCE Rail Mounted Fixed Loop (RMFL) fit all Picatinny rails?
The RMFL is designed to attach to standard Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) rails. It uses a single cross-slot clamp that secures with a thumbscrew. It will not fit M-LOK or KeyMod slots without an adapter. The loop itself is fixed (non-adjustable) and provides a 1.25-inch webbing loop for attaching a sling hook or clip. Verify that your rail has at least one open slot for installation.
Can the BLUE FORCE Buttstock Adapter (VS-A2-CB) be used on AR-15 carbine stocks?
The VS-A2-CB is designed for A2-style fixed rifle stocks, which have a sling swivel stud on the bottom of the buttstock. It replaces the standard swivel with a QD (quick-detach) cup and a webbing loop. For carbine stocks with a standard carbine buffer tube, BLUE FORCE offers a different adapter (VS-CAR). Check your stock type before ordering.
What is the maximum load rating for BLUE FORCE slings?
BLUE FORCE does not publish a specific load rating for their slings. The webbing used is typically 1.25-inch Mil-Spec nylon with a breaking strength of approximately 1,000 lb. However, the sling is intended for firearm retention and carry, not for climbing or fall arrest. The stitching and hardware are designed to withstand the weight of a rifle (typically under 15 lb) plus dynamic loads from movement. For heavy machine guns like the M240, the Vickers Sling M240 variant uses wider webbing and reinforced stitching.
Are BLUE FORCE slings compatible with left-handed shooters?
Yes. The Vickers Sling and other BLUE FORCE slings are ambidextrous. The quick-adjust pull tab can be positioned on either side of the sling by routing the webbing through the hardware accordingly. The sling can be configured for left- or right-handed carry without modification. The RMFL and buttstock adapters are also symmetrical and do not have a handed orientation.
